Banning Order issued following smoke flares at Gigg Lane
During the recent Capital One Cup game with Crewe Alexandra, two smoke flares were ignited within the home section and the away end
Thanks to the swift action from the clubs stewards, both persons involved in the release of these smoke flares – one Bury fan and one Crewe Alexandra fan – were detained and arrested by the local police.
Bury Football Club would like to stress that the use of smoke flares within Gigg Lane is strictly forbidden, as it is in all football grounds in the UK.
The supporter responsible for this action has been banned from entry to Gigg Lane and all future uses of smoke flares will result in the same action.
