Bury FC and Bury FC Community Trust support Christmas Fair at Millwood School
A number of representatives from Bury Football Club went along to help lend their support to the Christmas Fair at Millwood School this week.
Millwood School is the main primary school in Bury for pupils with medical needs; severe learning difficulties; autism, epilepsy and multi- sensory impairments.
Bury Football Club has always had a really strong relationship with the school, particularly the Community Trust who deliver a lunchtime club at the school each day and use the venue for all their Aiming High disability programmes.
Two members of the Trust, Sian Godwyn and Dan Barber went along to support the school’s Christmas Fair along with two youth team players, Connor Keane and Henry Wordingham.
The school were really pleased by the support and the fact that the Fair raised around £1,000 for the school, a record for the Christmas Fair. All of the representatives from Bury Football Club got thoroughly involved in the event, drawing out the raffle prizes and meeting the children at the school.
