Craig Fagan signs shakers contract till end of the season.
Craig started his career with Birmingham City as an under 9, but when the club dismantled its youth system he landed at West Bromwich Albion, but returned to St Andrews when the blues launched their new academy system. Craig made just one appearance for the Blues and was shipped out on loan to Bristol City and Colchester United in order to gain experience.
He joined Colchester United in 2004, making 32 appearances that season and scored 12 goals. He joined Hull City the season after for an undisclosed six figure sum and scored on his Tigers debut five days later. Craig made 80 appearances for Hull, scoring 15 goals before a £750,000 sum (rising to £1m) took him to Derby County in 2007, where he found the back of the net just one on 39 games.
He returned to Hull in 2008 on loan, signing permanently after an eight game loan spell and made a further 52 appearances and scoring a further five goals.
Craig then re-united with Phil Parkinson at Bradford City last season, where he made 31 appearances and scored seven goals before being released.
In total, Craig has made 325 appearances, scoring 55 goals for six clubs.
Craig has signed a permanent contract until the end of the current season and takes squad number 31. Craig will be available to the manager for Saturday’s game with Coventry City.
