Posh loanee arrives

15 February 2013

Kevin Blackwell makes a further addition to the Shakers squad.

Striker Jonson Clarke-Harris has signed for the Shakers on loan until the end of the season from Championship side Peterborough United.

Jonson Clarke-Harris joined Posh as a teenager from Coventry City, where he set a club record by becoming the youngest ever player to represent the Sky Blues at 16, and was highly-rated at the Ricoh prior to his departure.

A striker by trade, Jonson can operate on the left-hand side of midfield and packs a punch with his shooting from anywhere on the pitch. He has spent a short stint at Southend United this season on-loan, where he made three appearances from the bench, and arrives at Gigg Lane in good form after three goals in his last two games for the reserves.

Ironically Johnson goes straight into the squad for Saturdays game with his former club.

Jonson will be at Gigg Lane until the end of the current season and takes squad number 26
