Striker signs on non-contract terms
Jeanvion Yulu-Matondo, otherwise known as Yulu, a Kinshasa (Zaire) born striker, has signed non contract terms for the Shakers. The club are now awaiting international clearance before he can take his place in the first team squad.
Yulu has been on trial with the Shakers for the last three weeks and Kevin Blackwell has seen enough from the 27 year old to offer non contract terms.
Yulu started his career with R Ans FC in Belgium, he went onto play for R E Mouscron before developing his skills with Club Brugge – coming from the Youth Team and into the First Team. He progressed with Brugge, and represented them in the Champions League, scoring against Juventus. His next move took him to Roda JC before he joined Levsski Sofia on January 2011.
Yulu returned to Belgium in September, signing for KVC Westerlo and following his release, he arrived at Gigg Lane on trial.
Yulu will take squad number 26 with international clearance now being waited on.
