Servicesport agree to two year partnership with the Shakers

Bury Football Club are delighted to announce our first new business partnership initiative has been signed.

Our ‘Business Partnership Initiative’ gives local businesses the opportunity to work with the club to expand their business networks, as well as them benefitting from the added value of opening new links locally and internationally.



‘Servicesport’ have agreed a 2 year partnership agreement to supply all the equipment and specialist flooring for the new players gymnasium being launched at the Club.


Shakers Chief Executive Glenn Thomas said earlier today:-


‘This is an exciting initiative that will work well within the local business community in using the facilities at Gigg Lane to expand their network of contacts, and hopefully create new working relationships to increase their own business opportunities. I want local businesses to see us as a catalyst in their future development.’


Director of Operations, Ian Kendall added:-


‘My experiences of this type of initiative have always proven to be successful for all concerned and we really believe this will benefit all businesses that participate in our new scheme.’


Mr Colin Marriott - Managing Director of Servicesport said moments after signing the deal:-


‘I am absolutely delighted to support Bury Football Club and the team behind the new ownership. I was very impressed with their attitude, professionalism and plans moving forward.


I am happy to support this initiative and work with more local businesses to expand my business.  I would like to thank Ian Kendall at Gigg Lane for the opportunity to be a part of a new vision for Bury Football Club."
