Bury 0 Crawley Town 2

2 March 2013

Former Bury boss Richie Barker took all three points home from his return to Gigg Lane, after Crawley Town got the better of the Shakers.

Jamie Proctor scored both goals for the visitors, condemning Bury to their third consecutive 2-0 home defeat and the result leaves the Shakers eight points from safety with just 11 games left to play.

The visitors were quick to set out on the front foot, with former Bury boy Nicky Adams shooting at goal within the opening few minutes. Ironically, fellow former Shaker Mike Jones got in the way and Bury took the ball away with a counter attack.

Jake Taylor tried his luck with a half volley from the right of the box after six minutes, but Trevor Carson made a crucial reaction save to keep the ball out.

GOAL! The visitors took the lead through Jamie Proctor on 17 minutes, following a swift counter attack - Proctor managed to poke the ball beyond Carson with a deflected left foot effort, which found the bottom corner.
