Goalie coach moves to York City
Goalkeeping coach Fred Barber has left the club and has joined York City as assistant manager to Nigel Worthington.
Speaking this afternoon, manager Kevin Blackwell said: ‘I’d like to thank Fred for his time and effort and that he has put into Bury FC, and for the help and assistance that he has given me whilst I have been here. We all wish him the very best for the future.’
Fred joined the club just before the start of the season on a voluntary role following the departure of Richie Barker and Anthony Williams, and took up the role on a full time basis as Kevin Blackwell joined the club.
