Job and placement opportunities available within the Community Trust

Bury FC Community Trust is currently recruiting for a number of opportunities including coaching roles in the Academy and local schools and a Media and Marketing Intern.

The intern role is suitable for any recent or imminent graduate, who would like some experience of working within a football, sporting or community environment.

The main focus of the post will be to develop marketing and media activities for Bury FC’s Community Trust and Bury FC’s Academy, although there will also be some scope to work within the football club’s press and communications department.

The ideal candidates will have some interest in football or sport, be able to work to deadlines, have good IT and literacy skills, and most of all to be enthusiastic and passionate. Whilst the role is unpaid, travel expenses and a lunch allowance will be provided. It is expected that the placement will last for approximately three months.

The Community Trust is also recruiting for enthusiastic casual coaches who are available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays in a variety of different sports.  Current sports that the trust delivers include football, cricket, gymnastics and street dance, although people that are qualified in any other sport are also encouraged to apply.

Finally, Bury FC’s Academy is also looking for a number of qualified coaches to work across the U16 – U9 age range.  Coaches need to hold a UEFA  B’ license and are expected to fulfil a number of duties including liaising with parents, compiling match and player reports and working with trialists.
