Community Trust launches new ‘What’s On’ guide for the Autumn
Now that the nights are drawing in, and there is a frosty feel in the mornings, the Community Trust has launched its new ‘What’s On’ guide for the Autumn, detailing the full programme of activities from now until Christmas.
The guide contains information on 28 different activities, and around 52 different sessions across Bury, north Manchester and Salford. This includes school holiday camps, football development centres, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, a monthly Tea Dance, the Mobile Gym and a Buggy Baby Boot Camp; meaning that there is something for everyone.
There are also a number of new projects that will also be starting in the Autumn including a new netball development camp and cricket development camp. There is also a new weight programme for men, called ‘Drop a Shirt Size’ which will be based out of the gym at Gigg Lane. This project which will start in October will help men to get fit and healthy and to lose weight, with specialist support and advice. Everyone that reaches their goal will be rewarded with a new Bury FC shirt in a smaller size.
There is also a new Saturday match day club for young supporters who would like to come along and take part in some fun football games, before heading over to the match at Gigg Lane. This will take place on each Saturday home game from 1pm at Playfootball.net.
