Team News – Bury:  Four players are rated as 50 50 for Saturdays game with Southend.  Marlon Jackson, Jessy Reindorf, Toppie Obadeyi and Ashley Grimes have been under the care of physio Tom Walsh for most of the week, though to be fair to all four players – the bench is probably the only place they are fighting for – mainly due to their current state of fitness.

For the only time this month, Bury are set to play what seems to be a rare home game after three straight games away from Gigg Lane.  Three away games and three painful defeats and the weekend’s game gives the lads the chance to get back into winning ways.  A response would go down very well, three points would be better.

A vast army of travelling Bury fans have travelled and supported the lads over three fairly local games, but to see such numbers making the effort is good for the club and good for everyone involved at Gigg Lane.

The lads know the support is there and every single one of them want to repay something back to those that have travelled and backed the lads for the last three weeks.  Getting back to Gigg Lane will hopefully see a return of the form that the lads used to dismantle Cheltenham Town within 20 minutes.

Three quick goals put the Robins to the sword, but with Southend showing similar form to Bury at the moment, absolutely anything can happen.

Form Guide (Last six games):  Using the last six games played…
Over the last six games, Bury have won one (Cheltenham at home), drawn one (Burton Albion away) and lost four (Norwich City away, Port Vale away, Rochdale away and Fleetwood Town away).  Goals scored is eleven with fourteen conceded.

Southend United:  Over their last six games, Southend United have won two games (Hartlepool United away and Northampton Town at home), drawn none, and lost four (Chesterfield away, Wycombe Wanderers away, Morecambe at home and Scunthorpe United at home).  Goals scored is six with eight conceded.
