Zoe Robinson at Friday's Game

Club delighted to welcome local Paralympic Boccia player Zoe Robinson...

Tomorrow we will be delighted to welcome local Paralympic Boccia player Zoe Robinson. Zoe competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. London 2012 was Zoe's second Paralympic Games, after she competed as part of the team that won the gold medal in Beijing. In London Zoe was reunited in the BC1/BC2 competition with Beijing team-mates Nigel Murray, David Smith and Dan Bentley. Faced with tough competition, they succeeded in claiming the bronze medal.

She also reached the last 32 in the Individual BC2 event.

Outside of Paralympic compettion, Zoe won the BC2 silver medal at the 2009 British Championships in Nottingham, UK and the BC2 silver medal at the 2008 English Nationals in Sheffield, UK.

In the Team events, she won the bronze medal at the 2011 World Cup, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and silver at the 2009 European Championships in Porto, Portugal.
Zoe will be conducting the the tomorrow's Golden Gamble draw and will be meeting and greeting fans.
