Best in Bury and Scott Quigg join forces in presenting to the Club...
On Friday afternoon the first team, youth team and the management and fitness staff, were all treated to a presentation and sample buffet from new Club partner, Best in Bury.
Managing Director, Steve Hilton, kicked off the presentation discussing the quality of the produce, the benefits of buying fresh high quality meat without preservatives and difference between Best in Bury produce to those available in the supermarkets.
WBA Super Bantamweight Champion, Scott Quigg, followed Steve's presentation with an insightful look into how eating the products supplied by Best In Bury has aided his overall fitness and transformed his physique.
Shortly after the presentation the players were left to tuck into the excellent sample buffet which included some of Best in Bury's key produce, including fresh fish, meat, vegetables and cheeses.
First Team Fitness Coach, John Lucas expressed his delight with the partnership 'The partnership will benefit the player's greatly as nutrition plays a vital part in the player's performance, in maximising their energy levels, recovery during intense training sessions and post-game nutrition. Consuming Best in Bury's produce will help the players maximise gains through good nutrition. Myself and the whole management team are really looking forward to developing the partnership.'
The Club would like to say a big thank you to Steve and Scott for their time and for putting on such an insightful presentation.
