Bury FC are looking to recruit a catering manger to look after the dry side catering operation within the football club.
The ideal candidate will be qualified (with the appropriate certification) to provide food to meet the satisfaction of the directors on match days.
This will include in the boardroom as well as organizing buffet and bar snack menus for fans.
The successful candidate will be joining an ambitious, highly motivated club that is committed to making a difference. The directors are seeking to make the stadium a venue that operates 24/7 and caters for social events from christenings to weddings. The newly refurbished social club or one of the 3 corporate hospitality rooms in the club can cater for up to a maximum of 250 people. The club has ambition to host business forums, training days and even pop concerts..
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who aspires to work with the board to grow the club into an established robust business within Bury and produce a signature quality experience.
An ability to manage the business as a profitable cost centre is essential.
The salary based on a 40 hour week and is negotiable subject to experience and qualification. The ideal candidate will preferable have some experience of bar working although not essential. A valid driving licence may be advantageous.
