Premiership Forward Hope Joins the Shakers
We are delighted to announce the signing of 20 year old Everton forward Hallam Hope.
The England capped U16's – U19's youngster joined Everton from Manchester City in 2005 and went on to sign a full time scholarship with the club in 2010.
Hope was an integral part of Everton’s' Under-16's set-up during the 2009/10 campaign and also featured regularly for the Under-18s and was part of the Toffees' 2010 FA Youth Cup squad.
During the 2010/11 campaign, he was a key player as Everton charged to the National Academy title and was rewarded with a reserve-team breakthrough the following campaign.
In January of this year, he joined fellow Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town on a month's loan, making 3 appearances in the side, scoring on his debut in a 2–1 win over Newport County.
Hope has represented England at various youth levels, ranging from under 16 to under 19, making a total of 32 appearances and scoring a total of 18 goals across the various levels.
Although he has represented England at International level, he is also eligible to represent Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados.
Hope will be available for selection for Saturday’s away game against Northampton Town and will wear the number 9 shirt for the remainder of the season.
