Midfielder Robert Milsom has joined the Shakers on loan until 10th January from Rotherham United...
Robert made 59 appearances for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League before linking up with Rotherham, in June 2013, where he has since made a further 35 appearances.
Milsom’s flexibility means that he can operate on the left-hand side of midfield or in the centre of the park, and also boasts the ability to be employed as a full-back when required.
After breaking into the Millers starting line-up, Rob became a fans favourite with a string of impressive displays, most notably in the 3-1 home victory over Sheffield United when he netted the third goal. He came off the bench in the play-off final victory over Leyton Orient as the Millers booked their place in The Championship, winning on penalties.
Born in Redhill, Milsom began his career as a youth player at Fulham before signing professional terms at Craven Cottage. In an attempt to gain first-team experience, the midfielder was loaned to Brentford and Southend United before making a temporary switch to Finnish team TPS IN 2010. Milsom then ended a 12 year affiliation with Fulham by joining Aberdeen in 2011.
Robert takes squad number 18 during his spell at the JD Stadium.
