Nathan Cameron signs on the dotted line...
Nathan Cameron has committed his future to Bury Football Club by signing a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the Club until 2017.
The 22 year-old defender, who signed from Coventry in June 2013, has played 48 games for the Shakers, scoring 4 goals.
On signing his contract extension Nathan said: "The Chairman, the Manager and the players have all made me feel really welcome and comfortable here at Bury. I really want to gain promotion with this Club and this group of lads. I've spoken with a few of the players and they've all said this is too good of a team not to be promoted. The way we are playing at home at the moment we feel we can beat anyone. I'm excited to be a part of the Club's future and just want to keep moving forward.”
David Flitcroft said: "Nathan signing represents the current, the medium term and the long term goals of the Club. He's been outstanding this season – his performances have been immaculate. Nathan has earnt this contract, it hasn't just been given to him. The way that he has transformed his game has been quite incredible. He's a fantastic individual who is fighting for the cause. It was important that we signed Nathan up when other potential clubs were looking at him, as I believe that he is going to take the Club forward and we don't want to lose our best players. We are absolutely delighted with the signing.”
