Last home game

24 April 2015

Another season has flown by and the last home game beckons.

We still have so much to play for and your support is very much appreciated. Please bring as many as you can to the game tomorrow to back the team into a potential promotion winning position.

Due to the fact this is the last game of the season we have so much to thank you for and show our appreciation for the support you have given us.

With that in mind, and trying to respect the Clubs traditions, we will be carrying out the following activities during the day:

1. Prior to kick off, we will be welcoming all the Academy players to do a walk round of the pitch to show their thanks for the support of the community and families that have helped us to have such a rewarding season from U8 to U16.

2. Before kick off the club will be holding a minutes silence to remember those killed in the Bradford City fire 30 years ago, plus we will also be remembering our own supporters, players and staff that have sadly passed away over the course of the season.

3. At half time, after the Lottery draw, the Youth Squad and staff will be led onto the pitch by Director Mr Ian Kendall. They will then be presented with their League winning medals by the Chairman as well as the trophy itself. This will be a great opportunity for us to celebrate such a great success.

4. Lastly, after the full time whistle has been blown, the players will leave the pitch to allow match officials and the Wimbledon players to return to the players’ tunnel. The Chairman will then lead the players, management and Board of Directors back onto the pitch in order for them to show their gratitude for the support and belief you have shown in them since the start of the season.

We still have so much to play for and need you to be the voice to cheer us on.
