Our preview of Newport County v Bury....
Newport County v Bury
Rodney ParadeKO 15:00,
As it stands going into today’s play-off clash at Rodney Parade, Bury remain in the top play-off spot in the Sky Bet League 2 table, 4 points behind Wycombe Wanderers who currently occupy 3rd spot. Newport County are currently sitting in the final play-off place, and have a few sides underneath them looking to cut in and take that final spot.
The Shakers will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing defeat at the hands of Morecambe on Easter Monday, on an afternoon which saw the Shakers dominate for most of the game.
The Shakers remain without Joe Riley, who is currently serving a three-match suspension following his red card against Northampton Town. Joe will be available for selection for Tuesday night’s game against league high-flyers Shrewsbury Town. Nathan Cameron needs to avoid getting a 10th caution of the season before Sunday's yellow card amnesty.
County defender Ryan Jackson is set to be available, after he was forced off with a hamstring strain during the first-half of their 2-0 win at Accrington Stanley on March 27th. The home side will also be without Ismail Yakubu, who is currently serving a one-game ban after being sent off against Exeter City on Monday.
