Preview: Shrewsbury Town (H)

14 April 2015

Preview of tonight's game against Shrewsbury Town...

Bury v Shrewsbury Town
@ The JD Stadium
KO: 19:45

Tonight’s match is another important fixture with both teams in the hunt for automatic promotion, in fact if Shrewsbury win tonight and other fixtures go their way they will be guaranteed promotion into Sky Bet League One.

However, David Flitcroft and his men will be looking to dampen that dream by getting the three points to help with their own promotion push, which has been aided by the teams great run of form in recent weeks.

In fact Bury only need a point from the match to secure a play-off place, but the team will be looking to go one better than that if they keep up their current form.

As it stands going into tonight's game at the JD Stadium, Bury remain in the top play-off spot in the Sky Bet League 2 table, 4 points behind Wycombe Wanderers who currently occupy 3rd spot, but with a game in hand.

The Shakers will also be strengthened by the return of full-back Joe Riley who has now served his three-match suspension following his red card against Northampton Town.

Shrewsbury will be without defender Connor Goldson and midfielder Ryan Woods who are currently completing two match suspensions, but have a full squad except for that.
