Bury youth team take on Morecambe tomorrow afternoon in their last game of the season.
The under-18s will play their last game of the season in the Youth Alliance North West tomorrow against Morecambe at Carrington, kick-off 2.30pm.
Bury under-18s go into tomorrow’s game still with a chance of winning the league title; however it is now dependent on other results.
Whether or not those results come in for the youngsters, the team should be proud of all they have achieved during the season including an impressive run of 16 games unbeaten.
Tomorrow’s visitors, Morecambe, sit bottom of the league with a current goal difference of -69 and only 10 points from 29 games.
However, Youth Team Manager Ryan Kidd was quick to point out that no game in the league is easy and the players will have to be at their best to get a result.
Speaking after Saturday’s match, Ryan Kidd said: “They might be bottom of the league, but it doesn’t really matter, we’ve struggled recently against teams down there.
“It’s all about our attitude and how clinical we are. We are a good team and I want them to play like they have done all season.
“A lot of opposition managers and coaches who we come up against, come in and say that we are the best footballing team they have played this season by a mile and that’s pleasing.”
Spectators are welcome and there will be car parking available, however please be aware there will be no access to the main building at the complex.
