Youth v Wigan at the JD

The u18's will face Wigan Athletic at the JD Stadium in a re-scheduled fixture.

The youth team’s fixture against Wigan Athletic on 7th April has been re-scheduled to take place at the JD Stadium KO 7pm. 

The game is an important fixture for the team as it sees the young Shakers face fellow title chasers Wigan in the penultimate game of the season. 

Therefore, the game being played at the JD Stadium will make for the perfect atmosphere for what will be an exciting affair.

Director of youth, Ian Kendall, said that "there has been significant interest in the progress on the youth team this year and after consideration the board felt that it would be right to switch the game to an evening kick off to allow fans to see the youngsters in action in such a crucial game. The fact that almost 1,200 fans attended the Old Trafford game was sufficient evidence to justify the switch of venue and time."

Prices will be as follows:

Under 16s - free 
Concessions - £2.50 
Adults - £5 

All funds raised from the gate will go directly to the forthcoming trip to Holland to supplement the experience they will have.
