Annabelle’s Challenge are proud to announce the sponsorship of Bury FC for the 2015/16 season
The charity is named after six-year-old Bury girl Annabelle Griffin, who suffers from VEDS, a condition that puts her at daily risk of her internal organs and arteries spontaneously rupturing.
Parents Jared and Sarah Griffin have worked tirelessly to boost the charity’s profile and working closely with the club will help achieve this within the local community.
Jared Griffin, founder of Annabelle’s Challenge said "We are so pleased that Bury FC are supporting our charity and we look forward to the new season in League One, Annabelle is also excited with the opportunity to personally get involved with raising awareness with the club".
The charity raises awareness and funds to help support families affected by vascular EDS a rare genetic condition which is life threatening and incurable. Annabelle was diagnosed with vascular EDS in December 2012 aged three.
Jared "I am delighted that Annabelle's Challenge is working with the club, it is an exciting time for both the club and our charity".
Daniel Bowerbank, Commercial Account Manager, "We are delighted that we will be working alongside Annabelle's Challenge as one of Bury Football Club's chosen local charities for the upcoming 2015/16 season. We have a lot of events pencilled in over the season and we are proud to be able to assist in raising awareness of Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome."
The team at Annabelle's Challenge will kick off the season at the first home game against Swindon Town by hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday 15th August from 12pm.
