Accrington v Bury Preview

27 January 2015

A preview of tonight's game against Accrington Stanley....

Accrington Stanley v Bury
The Store First Stadium
KO: 7:45pm

As it stands going into tonight's derby at the Store First Stadium, the Shakers sit 7th in the Sky Bet League 2 table having moved up into a play-off spot after Saturday's 2-1 win against Carlisle United. Accrington Stanley currently hold 15th spot in the league, with 1-2 games in hand over the majority of teams in the league. Back-to-back defeats have prevented Stanley making it into a play-off spot.

Bury have started 2015 with a defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge, a draw against Wycombe Wanderers and a win against Carlisle United.

Accrington Stanley have lost their last two games, away at Tranmere and Wimbledon, but have lost only once at home since October.

Tonight's game will be Accrington Stanley's first home game since late December.

The Shakers are still without striker Ryan Lowe who is out with a hamstring problem.

Stanley's full-back Adam Buxton has returned to the side after being forced out with an injury.
