The Youth Team and coaching staff will be on twitter throughout their trip to Holland using the hashtag #burygodutch.

The Youth Team are currently on their way to Holland for a two week trip organised by the League Football Education (LFE).

The trip will involve taking in a different style of football to what the youngsters are used to in the UK, playing games against two Dutch Premier League sides, Vitesse Arnhem (U19s) and Willem II (U17s), as well as second tier German side VFL Bochum (U17s).

Youth Team midfielder Robert Bourne is excited about this aspect of the tour, speaking ahead of the tour he said: “I want to see what they do differently to us, like different styles and formation.

“Then I’m looking forward to bringing aspects of that to my own games, which will hopefully help me improve.”

The team won the Youth Alliance North West league last season, and will be looking to do the same again in 2015/16, with striker George Miller hoping the trip will give them a good foundation for that goal.

Speaking ahead of the tour, George Miller said: “It’s going to be good, hopefully it will help us bond as a team, which will help us improve on the pitch.

”My goal for the season is first and foremost to win the league again, two years in a row.”
