The fixtures are in and the Shakers start their Sky Bet League One campaign with a game at Doncaster Rovers
The first home game comes a week later when Swindon Town make the trip to the JD Stadium on 15 August. August is rounded off with a trip to Crewe Alexandra before we get a home game with Oldham Athletic on 29 August.
September sees Bury travelling to Walsall on 5 Sep and Sheffield United on 12 Sep with Port Vale and Coventry City arriving at Bury on 19th & 26th respectively.
The month of October will be a busy month for the Shakers and local derby games with Wigan, Rochdale and Blackpool all arriving at Gigg Lane over a 21 day period. Wigan on 10 Oct, Rochdale on 17 Oct and Blackpool on 31 Oct. The first long away trip comes on 3 Oct with a trip to Colchester United before trips to Bradford & Shrewsbury Town.
Burton Albion and Scunthorpe United are visitors to BL9 during the month of November with trips to Gillingham and Millwall either side of the two games whilst the first round of the Emirates FA Cup will take place on Sat 7 November.
The League campaign for December starts on 12 December with Chesterfield at home, followed a week later with a long trip to Southend United. Boxing Day will see the Gaffer’s former club Barnsley at the JD Stadium before we make the trip down the M6 on the 28th for a game at Port Vale.
2016 kicks off on 2 Jan with a trip to Fleetwood Town followed by Crewe and Walsall at home. It’s Oldham away on 23 January and Sheffield United at home on 30 January.
February brings three away games – Barnsley, Coventry and Wigan Athletic with Colchester United the only home game during the month. Whilst March kicks off with Peterborough and Bradford City at home, before we make the shortest trip of the season to Spotland and a game with Rochdale on 12 March. Shrewsbury and Gillingham are visitors to Bury with Blackpool away on 26 March.
April starts with Burton Albion away before Doncaster Rovers visit the Shakers on Sat 9th August with trips to Swindon and Scunthorpe on 16th and 19th April. Millwall make a long awaited return to Bury on 23 April with the final away game of the season at Chesterfield on 30th April.
The final home game of the season will see Southend United arrive at the JD Stadium on Sat 8 May…
