Shakers' snare Striker

14 March 2015

Bolton Striker Tom Eaves joins for rest of the season

The club are delighted to announce the loan arrival of Bolton Wanderers Striker Tom Eaves.

Tom joined Bolton Wanderers in the summer of 2010 from Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

Just days before he signed on at the Macron, the powerhouse centre-forward had scored a hat-trick against Bolton in a pre-season friendly at Boundary Park.

Over the course of the last two seasons Eaves has had a frustrating time with injuries, but when fit has been a regular starter in the club's reserve team.

Having spent time on loan at Yeovil Town earlier in the 2014/15 season, featuring for the Glovers in the FA Cup against Manchester United, Eaves made his first Whites appearance since August 2013 following his return to Bolton, coming on as a late substitute against Watford in February 2015

Tom has arrived at the JD Stadium in time to be named in the squad for this afternoon's game at Mansfield Town and takes squad number 18.  Tom is a player that the club has been tracking for some time now and we are delighted that the six foot three striker has linked up with the club in time for this important part of the season.
