Chris Hussey extends his Shakers deal at Gigg Lane
Defender Chris Hussey has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will see him remain at Gigg Lane until the end of the 2017/18 season.
Chris joined the club in March 2014, initially on loan from Burton Albion, his first spell at the club brought eleven appearances before he returned to the Pirelli Stadium to take part in the Brewers Play Off campaign, including an appearance at Wembley in the play-off final against Fleetwood Town.
Chris decided against a new deal at Burton for the following season, and instead returned to Gigg Lane to pen a two-year deal for the Shakers. His first year at the club brought instant success when the Shakers secured promotion to Sky Bet League One.
Since arriving at Bury, Chris has made 73 appearances and scored three goals.
We’ll have reaction from the manager on Chris Hussey and the arrival of Paddy Kenny following Saturdays Emirates FA Cup game with Wigan Athletic.
