Keeper Daniel Bachmann has joined the club on emergency loan
A product of the Stoke City academy, Daniel has progressed through the ranks to become a part of the Potters first team squad. Though he has yet to be named in their starting XI, Daniel has been out on loan with National League side Wrexham, where he made 15 appearances last season and has made two appearances for Ross County in the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup where he kept a clean sheet in both games.
Daniel arrives at Carrington tomorrow in readiness for the weekend’s local derby game with Blackpool and will take squad number 30.
Speaking this afternoon, manager David Flitcroft said: - “Due to an unfortunate injury that Aaron McCarey picked up on Monday, we have had to move quickly to get another keeper into the club. We’ve also been given permission for Daniel to play in the FA Cup.”
We are extremely grateful to Stoke City Football Club for allowing us to take Daniel on emergency loan.
