3 Offered Deals, 6 Released, 17 Under Contract

Bury Football Club have issued their retained list ahead of the final game two games Chesterfield & Southend United, as shown below

The following players are out of contract at the end of the current season:-

Craig Jones, Reece Brown, Chris Eagles, Rob Lainton, Ryan Lowe, Danny Nardiello, Kiel O’Brien, Marcus Poscha & Danny Pugh.

Of those eight players, the following have been offered new deals

Craig Jones – the club has activated a clause in his current contract that extends his current deal for another season.

Ryan Lowe – The club have offered Ryan a new one-year contract

Danny Pugh – The club are in negotiations on a contract offer for next season

The following players are out of contract and will be released from the club following the game with Southend United game. 

Rob Lainton, Danny Nardiello, Kiel O’Brien, Marcus Poscha, Reece Brown and Chris Eagles.  

These six players leave Bury Football Club with our thanks and very best wishes for the next stage of their careers.

The following players are under contract at Gigg Lane and have therefore been retained going into the 2016/17 Season.

Joe Riley, Chris Hussey, Andrew Tutte, Peter Clarke, Kelvin Etuhu, Hallam Hope, Jacob Mellis, Leon Clarke, Danny Mayor, Tom Pope, Craig Jones, Tom Soares, Scott Burgess, Nathan Cameron, Anthony Dudley, Danny Rose, John Ruddy (gk)

All loan players will return to their parent clubs following the final game of the season with Southend United, with our thanks and best wishes are extended to Ian Lawlor, John O’Sullivan, Cian Bolger, Chris Neal and Sean Clare.  Our thanks are also extended to the following clubs for allowing us to be a part of their player’s development – Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers, Southend United, Port Vale and Sheffield Wednesday)

The following second year scholars have been offered their first professional contracts:-

Rob Bourne & George Miller
