From Rio to Gigg Lane - whilst the Olympics are on in Rio
Whilst the world has spent the last few weeks watching the superb Great Britain Olympians in Rio, one Shaker swapped the sunny climes of Brazil for the slightly less sunny Bury.
Roy Dutton, who was last here 6 months ago, came back for a couple of reasons “I come back every year to see family and to watch the Shakers. I’ve seen us play every game so far since the start of the season. For me, you can’t beat the atmosphere at Gigg Lane, and I would urge the Bury community to go and watch their local side!”
Roy is pictured with his Nathan Cameron match-worn shirt from last season. He will be at Walsall on Saturday, and the final game of this visit will be next Tuesday when we face Morecambe in the Check-a-Trade Trophy at Gigg Lane, 7pm Kick-Off.
