Ben Futcher has given the fans an update on the three players currently in the physio room with injuries.
The Shakers are currently almost fully fit which will help David Flitcroft going into the last 16 games of the season in their search for 10 points which will take them to 50.
Bury’s Assistant Manager Ben Futcher has given us an update on the three players – Danny Rose, Kelvin Etuhu and Rob Lainton – who are currently out of action due to injuries.
Speaking ahead of the Colchester match Ben Futcher said: “Kelvin (Etuhu) got injured against Coventry and had to come off, due to a reoccurrence of a hamstring problem.
“I’m not sure on a timescale because with hamstrings you’ve got to be very careful, especially when it’s a re-injury so I think it will be about a couple of weeks maybe a month.
“Rob Lainton was training, but he’s had a bit of a set-back. He’s struggling a bit as every time he comes back he keeps breaking down.
“We’ll have to get him reassessed which is disappointing, but the physios are working hard with him.
“Finally, Danny Rose is very close, hopefully we’ll get him back in training probably today or the back end of the week.
“If not then, then it will be the start of next week, but we are hoping to get him back because he is an important player for us.”
