Bury's Supporter Liaison Officer gives you helpful information for each away match this season.
Ahead of Saturday’s second trip of the season to Wigan, we have received the below information from their SLO team.
We have an Away Supporters Bar situated at the back of the North Stand which is the end the Bury fans will be in. The Bar serves drinks and a selection of snacks and show the early kick off if there is one on, it would be great to see a few of your fans in there for some pre-match banter.
If fans are travelling by coach they will be dropped off at the North end stand and so is just a short walk to the away supporters bar, directions will be given by the stewards. For those travelling by car, we have a secure car park behind the ground, head for B & Q and follow the signs (£5 per car). For those travelling by train, the DW Stadium is about a 15 minute walk (turn left out of the station) or a 5 minutes taxi ride. There are also other restaurants and a large pub near the Stadium that allow away fans to eat and drink, notably Frankie and Bennies, Red Robin and Pizza Hut.
The best person to ask regarding disabled facilities is Norma Sherratt, who is our Disability Liaison Officer, her email is N.Sherratt@dwstadium.com
