The Shakers were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom of the League Morecambe on Saturday at Carrington.
Bury fought back to draw 1-1 with Morecambe after not playing a competitive match in over a month, after their last two scheduled matches have been postponed due to the recent bad weather.
Both teams had their fair share of possession with a number of half chances for both sides due to this, but neither time could find the opener.
This was changed on the 39th minute when an un-cleared corner was converted into the back of the net by Morecambe giving them a 1-0 lead going into half time.
The Shakers came out in the second half with a point to prove and Nathan Turner got the equaliser after a good ball by Jake Durham found Raquarn Crosdale in the box whose pin point cross found Turner on the far post who converted it into the net.
The Shakers stay 2nd in the North West Youth Alliance with top of the League Wigan Athletic slowly moving ahead of the pack, 4 points above the Shakers. However, Bury have a game in hand over the Latics which will help them claw back the deficit to 1 point.
