Bury travel to Blackpool for their Sky Bet League One clash on Friday 25th March, 3pm kick-off.
The Shakers travel to the Lancashire seaside on Good Friday to take on Blackpool, in what will be a closely fought affair.
Both sides have had mixed season in their first season’s back in Sky Bet League One with Blackpool having been relegated from the Championship last season and Bury being promoted from League Two.
Bury have had the more consistent season so far going into the last nine games of the season, currently sitting eleven points above the Tangerines who are straddling the relegation zone currently one point above safety sitting in 20thplace.
Blackpool will be looking to improve on their first win in nine games which was achieved against Crewe Alexandra last Saturday, with a further three points against Bury on Good Friday.
The Shakers themselves will be looking to snap out of their recent away form which has seen them pick up just three points away from home so far in 2016, with a result against the Tangerines.
David Flitcroft has admitted that they have looked at everything to try and fix this, but hopes that having three new players in the squad will be the difference they need with loan signings Chris Neal, Nathan Delfouneso and Cian Bolger all looking to make their away debuts at Bloomfield Rd.
“We’ve looked at all sorts, we’ve looked at every possibility to make sure we try and find a solution to the away form, so if they all play on Friday then that will be 30% of a new look team that’s potentially playing out there and that could be a factor.”
The Shakers will still be without Kelvin Etuhu who has suffered a set-back in his recovery and Rob Lainton is close but not quite ready for game time.
