Attacking midfielder Danny Gardner joins on loan until the end of the current season.
25-year-old Manchester born midfielder Danny Gardner joined Chesterfield from National League side FC Halifax Town in January 2014 and has since gone onto make 70 appearances for the Spireites, scoring seven goals – including one against the Shakers on his Chesterfield debut on 11 Jan 2014.
Danny’s route into football began with Manchester College, before he came through a successful trial with Celtic in 2008. However, following the SPL’s decision to abolish their reserve league, Danny soon found himself without a club before he joined Flixton for a spell before joining Crewe Alexandra in 2010.
He joined FC Halifax Town in 2012, making 51 appearances and scoring 17 goals before Chesterfield swooped to take him back into the Football League.
Danny has joined Bury until the end of the current season (8 May) and takes squad number 25.
