The Shakers come back from 2-0 down to ensure a point for their race to grab the Youth Alliance North West League title.
Bury under-18s showed why they are in chase for the League title with a great comeback during their first game in 14 days against Tranmere Rovers at the Wirral sides training complex.
Tranmere went in at half-time 1-0 up after they opened the scoring on the 13th minute when Tolani Omotola pounced on a loose ball to drive down the pitch and place the ball past Michael Papastylianou in the Bury net.
Omotola doubled Tranmere’s lead ten minutes into the second half to give the Shakers a mountain to climb, however Bury sprung into life at this point and kept pushing and pushing the Rovers defence, but to no avail.
The constant threat they showed finally paid off as the Shakers managed to get back into the game with a late goal just before the 90 minute mark via a well timed finish by Jake Durham from a corner.
The Shakers completed their fantastic comeback a minute later with a brilliant effort from 30 yard out by Rob Bourne whose shot slid under the Rovers keeper, making sure the Young Shakers left Merseyside with a well earned point.
