11th Forever Bury Beer Festival off to a flyer

The Football season may be over at Bury Football Club but there’s no rest for the Shakers fans, especially with all the work they do in the community.

First up is The 11th Forever Bury Beer Festival organised by the Supporter’s Trust. This takes place in the Pymgate Lounge on Gigg Lane from the 19th to the 21st May, 11.00am – 11.00pm daily. Once again the Forever Bury are working in conjunction with The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity and are hoping the beer fans in teh town will come on down and support the event.

There are 55 real ales assembled from breweries all over the country and on sale at an incredible £2 a pint. This is supplemented with Cider Bar serving 14 ciders and perrys and a huge continental Bottle Bar.

Each evening there will be live entertainment featuring Stuart Warburton, Keep it Covered and The Social Leftover.

Hot food will be on hand courtesy of the Super Josh team.

On Saturday May 21st 2016 the 'Official Bury FC Supporters FC' are once again holding their Annual 5-a-side Tournament at PlayFootball, Bury College, Market St, Bury

This will be the 8th consecutive year that this tournament has been held and is sure once again to attract teams from far and wide.

Cost to enter a squad of 8 players is £60 (£20 deposit) which includes food after the presentation for all competing teams

There will be a Burger Van available in the morning and Bar Facilities available throughout the day.

Also our nominated Charity Raffle this year is '4Louis' an amazing charity who supply memory boxes and cuddle cots to hospitals free of charge for parents who have lost babies

As both the final day of the Beer Festival and the 5-a-side Tournament are on Saturday 21st May, FA Cup Final Day then where better to watch the match than the Pymgate Lounge see you there!!!!
