It was another successful turn-out for our Bury FC Community Cup on Saturday 14th May.
The day was organised by Coppice Rangers and we would like to thank everyone who came along to support the teams as they raised money for our chosen charity, The Community Trust.
Nanu Miah and Yasser Farook co-ordinated 12 teams from mixed Eastern backgrounds, inviting them to join us here at Bury FC for our annual tournament.
The day went fantastically well and saw Elite FC, Oldham, rise to victory for the second year.
Our runners up Danehouse FC from Burnley were equally delighted by the days event.
The competition was tough as they narrowed down the group stages and Elite FC were victorious throughout.
Partnerships Manager, Cherrelle Slater added: ''We are pleased that here at Bury FC we are pro-active in welcoming our local community and sharing the same common interest and passion about football. The Community Cup is always a fun filled day for the children too, who enjoyed a day at Gigg Lane and are now supporting The Shakers at regular home games.''
Thank you to Spice Lounge Manchester who sponsored the Bury FC Community Cup trophies and everyone who joined us at the stadium.
