Bury FC Trust Tea Party

28 November 2016

An invite our local senior citizens to join us for festive celebrations

After the success of last year’s Christmas Tea Party, Bury Football Club have teamed up, once again, with the Bury branch of The Samaritans, to invite our local senior citizens to join us for festive celebrations, with the compliments of Bury Football Club and the Bury FC Community Trust.

The inspiration, behind the event, was taken from last year’s John Lewis' "The Man in the Moon" advert, with the hope of bringing together some of the elder members of our community, who may feel isolated at this time of year, to spend the day seeing old friends and, potentially, making new friends and to join us for a few festive treats, some festive Carols and a sing song.

We would be delighted if any of our senior citizens, whether they are Shakers fans or not, could join us for some complimentary Sherry, mulled wine, cheese and biscuits and a good old Lancashire sing along, with entertainment by Rob Mason and the Children of Woodbank Primary School, here at the Bury FC Social Club on Thursday, 8th December at 2 p.m.

Please feel free to share this invitation with Grandparents, Parents, Aunts, Uncles, friends and neighbours who you feel may enjoy this special event with Bury F.C.
