Rob Lainton signs new contract until the end of the current season
Keeper Rob Lainton has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him remain with the club until the end of the current season.
27-year-old Lainton was initially released by the club at the end of last season, however his name appeared on the team-sheet as he made a surprising return to the club on Boxing Day, for the EFL Sky Bet League One game at Fleetwood Town, on a pay as you play deal.
As popular as ever within the Gigg Lane changing room, Rob has now been offered and accepted a deal until the end of the season. Rob has made six appearances since returning to Bury and is now six games shy of his 50th appearance in a Bury shirt.
