Iconic striker Ryan Lowe has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him return to Gigg Lane for a third spell as player coach.
Chairman Stewart Day has brought Ryan back to the club for a second time in a move that will allow him to move on to the next stage of his career. Ryan rejoins the club after leaving Crewe Alexandra, who he joined after leaving the Shakers at the end of last season.
Ryan returns to Gigg Lane as Player Coach and, as a long-term prospect as first team coach with Bury FC. Using the facilities at Carrington, Ryan will be using his vast experience and unique talents in coaching the future stars of the club, be they youngsters within the Youth system or regular First team players.
Ryan is also available to Head coach Chris Brass as a player and will be available to him for this weekends game with Walsall and beyond. After long discussions between Ryan Lowe and Chairman Stewart Day, Ryan is both delighted and excited by the future that has been made available to him.
Ryan will be sat in front of the Shakers Player HD Camera at some point later today.
Welcome home Lowey!
