“We got in very quickly with Jermaine, signing him has shown our intent and I have no doubt that there will be a lot of disappointed clubs, both at Championship and League One level, now that we have secured the signature of a renowned goal scorer. Jermaine is a player that has already been involved with teams that have won promotion to the Championship from this level.
A key asset to the Shakers going into the 2017/18 season is obviously striker James Vaughan following his 24 goals last season, and, whilst Lee Clark admitted that bids had been rejected for his prize asset, his plans are very much for Vaughan to be a major part of his side going into the new campaign

Manager Lee Clark has revealed that his side has suffered their first injury with Phil Edwards undergoing surgery to a torn Cartilage in his knee. The injury came on the training ground and the player will not be available for selection for three to four weeks.
