iFollow Bury FAQ's

Key questions answered regarding our new subscription zone

Q: The latest video does not work on my Mobile/Tablet App?
A: The App was a custom-built application for Shakers Player HD. Shakers Player HD no longer exists; therefore the App no longer works or is updated.

Q: I registered for and paid for Shakers Player HD?
A: Your existing Shakers Player HD subscription has been automatically transferred to iFollow

Q: My login to iFollow does not work?
A: There have been teething problems with some accounts that have been imported to iFollow. To resolve the problem, please use the chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of the website, or email the following address explaining your problem –

Q: The last video on the website was free to view, why is the latest video not free to view?
A: On occasions, the club will deem a video interview as a necessity for as many supporters to view as possible. These videos are set as ‘Free to view’. Supporters will be informed via the relevant article that the video is free to view. An example can be found here

Q: How can I watch the video features on my Mobile/Tablet?
A: The new website is fully mobile/tablet compliant and all features – including iFollow, will work directly from your browser on your hand-held device.

Q: Shakers Player HD was a separate website that I bookmarked?
A: iFollow Bury is now an integral part of the new look official website. It does not have its own unique URL, and can be found by pointing your browser to

Q: How often will iFollow be updated?
A: There is no set timetable for video interviews and features. We will update video as often as we possibly can. Pre-Match interviews and Post match interviews will continue to be posted within the subscription zone, we also hope to produce more content as the season progresses with regular video updates with players, coaching staff, the manager and members of staff from the club. Extended highlights from games will appear the following day of games.

Q: I live outside of the Bury area, will commentary be available?
A: Yes, audio match commentary will be available for all home and away league games, as well as cup games. Pre-Season games will feature full match commentary for home games only. We may also have full match commentary from Tranmere Rovers (TBC)

Q: I live abroad, what coverage can I expect to see/hear on iFollow?
A: Supporters living abroad will benefit from the normal audio match commentary as we have grown accustomed to. However, from this season, supporters based outside of the UK can WATCH the full game. This will be single camera coverage and will NOT include audio commentary. Full details will be posted online soon.

Q: Are there any exceptions to watching the game live from abroad?
A: Any Bury game shown live on Sky Sports HD, will NOT be shown on iFollow. The Bury v Sunderland Carabao League Cup game on Thursday, 10th August, will not be live (on video) on iFollow

Q: With Shakers Player HD, I could login to other club’s player service, is this still possible?
A: No. This facility has been removed from iFollow

Q: Will the club still be posting videos to the YouTube Channel
A: Yes of course, but please bear in mind that any video used on YouTube will be a teaser video. A 12 to 15 minute interview with Lee Clark, for example, will be available on iFollow, whereas the same interview for YouTube will be cut to no longer than three minutes in length.

Q: How much does an iFollow subscription cost?
A: Season passes are available for £45.

Q: I am an international supporter, I live abroad, how much does an iFollow subscription cost?
A: Season passes are available for the equivalent of £110

  • USA - $140

Q: I’ve seen iFollow advertised for £45. Has the price changed?
A: Fans in the UK and Republic of Ireland will be paying £45 for iFollow as they do not have access to any live streamed games, which is only available to overseas fans.

Q: Can I purchase a pass on a monthly basis or for a single game?
A: At present only season passes are available.

Q: What devices does iFollow work on?
A: iFollow is available across desktop, mobile, tablet and app.
