Unfortunately, two long-standing private functions within the Social Club on Gigg Lane, have brought changes to our normal routine for the pre-season games with Sunderland (7th July) and Huddersfield Town (16th July).
For the Sunderland game, we are only able to open the smaller half of the Social Club. A long-standing private function will be using the larger of the two rooms. Due to this booking, we regret we are unable to allow visiting supporters the use of our Social Club on this occasion. The smaller of the two rooms will be open for Home supporters only, but will be on a first come, first served basis.
We also have a private function on Sunday, 16th July, which will use both rooms within the Social Club. The facility will, therefore, be closed throughout the day for fans attending the game.
However, home supporters will be provided with limited access to Starkies Restaurant which, unfortunately, is only accessible after entering through the turnstiles in the Main Stand.
Please accept our most sincere apologies, both private bookings were booked long before the pre-season schedule was confirmed and, naturally, the club does not want to disappoint those attending the two private functions.
Normal service will be resumed for the visit of Crewe Alexandra on 22nd July and for all home games throughout the season.
Thank you for your patience, co-operation and understanding.
