National Men's Health Week

This week is National Men's Health week, Fathers Day and National Carers week. With this in mind we are honouring all the men we work with at walking football, disability football, the trust staff, colleges and volunteers and everyone at Bury FC.

21 June 2017

With it also being National Carers Week we are giving a special mention to someone who works closely with us at the Trust. Tommy Molloy not only helps care for his disabled step-son, Matthew, and facilitate him attending our disability football sessions but also helps us run the sessions and volunteers to get stuck in whenever he can. Volunteers are hard to come by, even more so those who are carers, often finding it hard to fit things in. Despite a busy home/work life Tommy always offers help with the disability teams wherever he can, not just for Matthew but all the players involved.

Tommy is being put forward on his FA Level 1 Coaching Badge as a special thank you from us for all his hard work and community effort. We hope this goes a little way to showing just how much he means to our organisation. Thanks Tommy!
