During the week GMP's Bury Division Phoenix department held numerous events across the borough including meeting up with Coronation star, Julia Goulding who helped to promote the IT’S NOT OKAY campaign. On Wednesday, 21st June, the Trust and the Phoenix department held a session with The Football College students, helping them to understand more about CSE in sport, with the correct procedures to give or get help if they needed them.
On Friday, 23rd June, the team were at Millwood SEN School for a coffee morning to discuss with parents their child's safety when not involved in sports groups but also when using devices such as iPads and access to online settings. During the week The Trust staff made great progress and secured links, with the Police, to continue working with them through the next few months to promote the aims of The Trust in makling young people, and their parents and guardians, both in schools and within the borough aware of the dangers around CSE and how to stay safe.
