New Coaching Roles Available

We have two coaching roles available in our Academy

Licensed Coaches Roles

Employer: Bury Football Club 

Academy Coaches: X2 U9s – U16s
Location:  Carrington Training Complex Manchester

Contract: Part Time 
Salary: Negotiable 
Closing Date: Friday 31st March 2017
FA Licence Level: Min UEFA B, Youth Modules 1-2-3
Role Description: 

  • Support development of Academy Players
  • Planning, delivery & Evaluation of coaching sessions on PMA
  • Recording and evaluation of players performance within sessions & games
  • To assist the Lead Coach with the coaching programme for a specific age group of players and deliver related practices associated with excellence in football
  • Commit to training and games programme 3 times per week and weekends
  • Monitor players and report their progress on a regular basis completing the relevant reports
  • Attend internal meetings and CPD events provided by the club
  • To share the Club’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including maintaining awareness of the Prevent strategy 
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Club’s Equality and Inclusion Policy
  • Ensure the health and safety of all staff, players and resources within the area(s) of responsibility, i.e. delegated responsibility in relation to the nature of the post holder’s duties and personal responsibilities as per Sections 7 and 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.


  • UEFA B Coaching Licence
  • FA Youth Modules 1-2-3 (desirable or working towards)
  • Current FA DBS Clearance
  • Current FA Safeguarding Workshop certificate or re-certification.
  • FA Safeguarding and emergency aid/BFAS Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP)
  • Previous experience working in a professional environment (desirable)
  • Computer Literate

  • Successful applicants will be subject to a enhanced DBS clearance prior to taking the job role
