Trust Approved for Asda's Green Token Giving

11 October 2017

Bury FC Boys and Girls Disability Team have been approved for Asda's Green Token Giving in the Pilsworth Store for the months of October, November and December 2017 for their Ability Counts project.

There will be three charities in the running, the charity with the most tokens at the end of the voting period will receive £500, with the two runners-up receive £200 each.

Disability Head Coach, Donna Godwyn had the following to say "We are very excited to be given the opportunity to reach out to the wider community in partnership with Asda's token scheme. This opportunity will not only allow us to inform the local community about what we do but also help to raise much-needed funds, allowing us to help provide much-needed necessities for The Trust's disability group."

The next time you are shopping in Asda, Pilsworth, please lend your support by giving your green token to us!

The green token boxes are located on the Community Board in the outer foyer of the store.

The rules of the vote are below, and failure to adhere may result in the vote being cancelled and the group disqualified:

• Tokens should only be used in the store in which they were collected

• Large amounts of tokens must not be deposited at any one time

• Voters can only vote once given a token by a member of staff
