Eagle-eyed supporters at our first home game against Yeovil Town may have noticed a change to our corner flags for the 2018/19 season.
English Football League sides who have won the F.A. Cup have the honour of the option of triangular corner flags rather than the traditional rectangular shape.
Supporter Liaison Officer Ben Miles explains “As a Club, we are clearly extremely proud of our achievements in the F.A. Cup. We have the option of the triangular shape for our flags and this is something we have taken up ahead of the 2018/19 season.
"The new design proudly displays our club crest, along with the results from our FA Cup Finals. As far as I know, no-one else has writing on their corner flags and it did involve a discussion with the EFL. They have approved our new design and I’d like to thank them for their assistance with this.”
Corner flags often go by un-noticed, but we wanted to make our supporters aware of this change and we hope that they approve of the design.
